Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons & Special Features– Only 1 Problem

Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons, Infinix has released a number of smartphones in India, all of which are excellent for the features they provide. The only issue I can identify with Infinix is its software; I even think they have the worst Android skin.

The newly released Infinix Note 12 5G is available in Snowfall White and Force Black and costs Rs 14,999 for 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It will be available for purchase on July 15, 2022, at noon on Flipkart.

Infinix Note 12 5G Review

The Infinix Note 12 5G is a worthwhile purchase if you’re comfortable with XOS; otherwise, you’ll be dissatisfied with its performance. The phone only has two strong points, a potent processor and 5G connection; other than that, it’s a typical smartphone. Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons

Although Infinix makes a laughably fantastic phone, they still need to improve their Android skin because the XOS is worse than MIUI. I believe that Infinix may sell more smartphones if they stick with Stock Android because they are providing decent specs at an affordable price. Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons

So sure, choose the Inifnix Note 12 5G if you’re looking to spend Rs 14999 on a powerful 5G smartphone. However, don’t expect the cameras, OS, or design to be up to par.

Display

The 6.70-inch, 60Hz AMOLED screen on the Infinix Note 12 5G has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a brightness level of 700 nits. The frame and rear are composed of plastic, while the front is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

You can stream FHD+ material on OTT services like Netflix and Prime Video because the phone does support Widevine L1.

Now that we’ve seen how much Infinix adores the waterdrop notch, we can see how much the Infinix Note 12 5G adores it as well.

For those who are unaware, Infinix just released the Infinix Note 12 4G, which had a 6.70-inch waterdrop notch as well. Accordingly, Infinix employed the same display and body for the Infinix Note 12 5G.

If you’re wondering, the waterdrop notch is not particularly large, but the bottom chin is, and that’s not ideal for a Rs. 15000 smartphone.

Overall, Infinix should have included the 90Hz AMOLED display for the pricing of Rs 14999, but they didn’t out of cost-cutting concerns. Even so, the display quality is decent, so using the smartphone outside won’t present any problems.

Performance

The MediaTek Dimensity 810 CPU, which is well tuned by MediaTek, has been seen in a fair number of smartphones. The phone is powered by XOS 10.6, which is based on Android 12. Infinix made no mention of upcoming upgrades.

Although Samsung, OPPO, Xiaomi, OnePlus, and even OnePlus have released Android Skins, Infinix’s execution is not that good.

You will occasionally notice latency or frame drops. By the way, the phone performs admirably in games, but occasionally the frame can drop while using it in daily activities like scrolling through social media or performing other tasks. Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons

Now, that’s not a processor problem; it’s an OS problem that may still be resolved, but Indinix did nothing.

Additionally, the gadget comes with a tonne of pre-installed programmes that may be removed, but doing so requires you to do it one at a time, which is not the nicest user experience. Additionally, Infinix has incorporated advertisements to the UI, which will intermittently show up in the notification bar. Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons

Overall, XOS must be corrected before Infinix can completely modify the OS.

Apex Legends, COD Mobile, and other mobile games like BGMI will all function without any problems.

While the Infinix Note 12 5G has 12 5G bands, including n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, and n28 as well as n38, n40, n41, n77, n78.

The MediaTek Dimensity 810 is a fantastic CPU overall; the XOS is the only issue that has to be resolved.

Camera

The front-facing 16MP selfie camera on the Infinix Note 12 5G has a 50MP main sensor, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP AI sensor. The front and back cameras can both record videos in 2K quality, which seems amazing on paper but not so great in practise. Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons

The phone relies on EIS, which is completely useless; most of the time, even at 1080p@30fps, films still appear unsteady.

Even so, the video looks nice in ideal lighting, but in low light, the video recording is not even usable. Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons

By the way, everyone is well that Infinix like oversaturation, and the Infinix Note 12 5G is no exception. 99% of the pictures and

By the way, everyone is well that Infinix like oversaturation, and the Infinix Note 12 5G is no exception. The majority of photos and videos include additional painted colours; red will stand out more than other hues, and vice versa. Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons

Additionally, the phone includes a special night mode that is inactive and needs to be adjusted.

You may want to disregard the 2MP+2MP sensors for your own safety as I’m not sure if you’ve noticed that the phone lacks an ultra-wide lens.

Although the 50MP sensor is respectable, it doesn’t produce high-quality photographs in low light. As I’ve already stated, the photographs will be usable under decent lighting. Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons

A 16MP front camera comes with beauty mode by default because most photos will show you as white. Additionally, it has some dynamic range problems, which are nothing new since we’ve encountered them with other Infinix devices. Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons

Overall, don’t expect much from the camera department for the price of Rs 14999; be content with what you have and stop asking for more. For those looking to spend Rs 15000 on a 5G gaming smartphone, this is it. Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons

This Infinix phone lacks a secondary noise suppression microphone, which is bad for calling, much like every other Infinix phone.

Additionally, carrier aggregation does not exist.

Although the Infinix Note 12 5G has stereo speakers, they cannot be considered stereo because you can only hear sound from the bottom speaker due to the upper side of the speaker being rather quiet. Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons

Although the phone technically boasts dual speakers, in practise there is only one excellent speaker.

Battery

A 5,000 mAh battery with 33W rapid charging capabilities powers the Infinix Note 12 5G.

The battery will last for a day and a half, but how you use the smartphone will also affect how long it lasts.

You will need to charge the gadget twice if you play games for five to six hours, but if you only use it occasionally, it may last for up to a day. Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons

Verdict

Do I advise purchasing an Infinix Note 12 5G? NO, is the response.

The software is just as worthless as a smartphone’s CPU in terms of importance. What will you do if your phone has a strong CPU but the outcomes are still subpar? Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons

Reasons to Buy Infinix Note 12 5G?

The MediaTek Dimensity 810 CPU and the 12 5G bands are the only two benefits of purchasing the Infinix Note 12 5G. Infinix Note 12 5G should not be purchased for Rs 14999 for any other reason, not even one. Infinix Note 12 5G Review with Pros and Cons

Reasons to Not Buy Infinix Note 12 5G?

There are numerous reasons not to purchase an Infinix Note 12 5G, including the fact that it lacks a secondary noise-cancelling microphone, carrier aggregation, the dated waterdrop notch, a plastic body, a tonne of bloatware, ads throughout the user interface, a 60Hz screen refresh rate, average cameras, and no ultra-wide lens for even the exorbitant price of Rs 14999.
