POCO M5 4G Reviews
Yes, the POCO M5 4G is worthwhile to purchase. It has pros and disadvantages, but at Rs 12499, it still represents value. POCO M5 4G is a nice option for the price it comes with, POCO M5 Review however if you have an extra Rs 1500 to invest, just choose POCO M4 Pro 4G.
You will have to give up one to two features because there aren’t many high-quality smartphones available for under Rs 20,000 anymore; in the case of the POCO M5 4G, it’s the cameras. POCO M5 Review
Overall, the POCO M5 4G is a respectable smartphone for daily use; it doesn’t have outstanding specifications, the design is not hideous, the cameras are subpar, and it also has 4G connectivity.

Display Of POCO M5 4G
The 6.58-inch, 90Hz LCD screen on the POCO M5 4G has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a brightness setting of 500 nits.
This is the end of 2022, and yet businesses are still releasing smartphones with a waterdrop notch. The display itself isn’t all that horrible, but the waterdrop notch ruined it all.
On the reverse, POCO utilised plastic but gave it a leather-like texture. It has the texture of leather, not real lather.
Although this smartphone costs Rs 12,499, the plastic frame is kind of acceptable considering the front is covered with Gorilla Glass 3.
The 500 nits of display brightness are adequate, but POCO should have supplied 1000 nits for greater viewing angles.
Overall, the punch hole notch would have been nicer for the price of Rs 12499, but it’s still not the worst display.
Performance Of POCO M5 4G
The MediaTek Helio G99 processor was recently spotted in the Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G and is also included in the POCO M5 4G.
An improved version of the Helio G96 is the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. The SoC should now have better battery life thanks to Mediatek’s upgraded CPU, while the GPU has also seen some minor improvements.
For a smartphone costing Rs 12499, you would be able to play games like COD Mobile and BGMI Mobile at a frame rate of 40. POCO M5 Review
There have been no comments from POCO on upcoming upgrades, however based on past experience, the phone should soon receive an Android 13 update. The device is powered by MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12.
You will have to make due with 4G as the MediaTek Helio G99 does not offer 5G connection. POCO M5 Review
The POCO M5 4G is a superb smartphone for fair gaming, and you’ll be pleased with its performance even in everyday situations.
Camera Of POCO M5 4G
I’m speaking of the trend that involves 2MP+2MP sensors, which we are currently seeing. POCO M5 Review
With an 8MP selfie camera on the front, the POCO M5 4G has a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front and back cameras can both capture 1080p@30fps footage.
Expect choppy movies because the device depends on EIS while still being a budget smartphone.
While there is some noise and softness in the photographs captured by the 50MP sensors in excellent illumination, they nevertheless produce usable photos.
POCO M5 Review
The dynamic range is well-balanced; occasionally, but not always, it messes up the backdrop.
Additionally, POCO has included a night mode that is functional but not ideal; when you click a photograph at night, you will notice a lot of noise and softness.
Although the photographs appear a little brighter, they cannot be shared on social media.
Returning to the front camera’s 8MP,
The sensor seems to have been introduced just to show off; the details are lacking, and the dynamic range has to be improved if you don’t want to take many selfies.
Overall, the front camera could use a lot of development, and I hope POCO is working on it.
While adding three more sensors to the rear of the POCO M5 4G is not essential, adding high-quality sensors makes more sense.
Audio Of POCO M5 4G
The POCO M5 4G is an inexpensive smartphone, although it lacks some features including stereo speakers, carrier aggregation support, and a secondary noise-cancelling microphone.
You will be disappointed in the quality of the single speaker because it is not that good. POCO M5 Review
The gadget does, in fact, include a 3.5mm audio connection and a specific micro-SD card port. POCO M5 Review
Battery Of POCO M5 4G
The smartphone has a built-in 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging, and the 18W charger is really included in the box. POCO M5 Review
Because of the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, the battery will last for a very long period; if you’re a heavy user, POCO M5 Review you’ll need to charge the smartphone between 8 and 9 PM, but if you’re a typical user, the battery will easily last for a day.
Now that MediaTek Helio G99 supports 33W or even 30W charging speeds, POCO should have offered them. POCO M5 ReviewÂ
Since companies are in business to earn a profit, they will ultimately decide to remove some functionalities. POCO M5 Review
