Activision's acquisition by Xbox has earned the utmost trust from Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.

Activision Blizzard was set to be purchased by Xbox earlier this year for slightly under $70 billion.

The agreement would give Xbox ownership of the publisher, all of its creators, and all of its intellectual properties, including the successful Call of Duty series.

The agreement has been under rigorous scrutiny for months and is anticipated to be completed by the summer of 2023.

Concerns about the merger have been voiced by consumers, government officials, and other business leaders

especially since Xbox purchased Bethesda and assumed ownership of some of the most well-known properties ever.

""Nadella stated. "Driving that choice and opportunity is at the core of everything we do with content, cloud, and community.

"Our single objective in the gaming industry is to increase the number of games available to players across all platforms and to give publishers and developers more options globally.

"Nadella stated. "Driving that choice and opportunity is at the core of everything we do with content, cloud, and community.

We are incredibly confident. Any purchase of this scale will undoubtedly face scrutiny, but we are quite certain that we will succeed.

In reality, Sony is the main participant in this situation and has already purchased three businesses during this time! So let there be competition if this is about it."
