Xiaomi Poco F4, The Poco F4 series has arrived, and the gaming-focused F4 GT, which debuted a few months earlier, is now joined by the standard F4.
Although the two phones are significantly different, here is everything each has to offer—including some speculation that an F4 Pro may be coming soon.
Here is all the information you want for the Xiaomi Poco F4 series.
When is the Xiaomi Poco F4 release date?
The F4 GT was originally introduced by Poco, and it was released globally on April 26 along with the first Poco Watch. Though it isn’t debuting in India, the phone is currently available for purchase everywhere, including the UK and Europe. You can get it at the Mi Store. Xiaomi Poco F4
The business has now followed it up with the normal Poco F4, which was presented with the Poco X4 at a global launch event on June 23 and is now available everywhere. You can get it via Flipkart in India or the Mi Store in Europe.
How much does the Xiaomi Poco F4 cost?
So yet, there are just two F4 phones. First, there are four variations of the standard F4 that are offered, with somewhat differing specifications in India and Europe:
- 6GB + 128GB: £379/€399/₹32,999
- 8GB + 128GB: ₹34,999
- 8GB + 256GB: £429/€449
- 12GB + 256GB: ₹39,999
The Poco F4 GT is another option; it is available in two versions, both of which have somewhat more RAM:
- 8GB + 128GB: €599
- 12GB + 256GB: £699/€699
What are the Xiaomi Poco F4 specs?
Let’s break down the Poco F4 line of phones, starting with the new Poco F4 and moving on to the slightly older F4 GT.
Poco F4
Poco held off on announcing the F4, also known as the F4 5G, until June, two months after the more potent F4 GT.
In contrast to the GT, the F4 has a more subtle look. It lacks the angular design flourishes and magnetic shoulder triggers that identify the GT as a gaming phone. In comparison, this gadget has a somewhat plain appearance, although being reassuringly thin at 7.7mm.
The Snapdragon 870, one of Qualcomm’s oldest flagship processors, powers the phone. There hasn’t been any update at all because that is essentially the exact same processor as the Poco F3 from a year ago. We spoke with Kevin Qiu, CEO of Poco Global, who essentially attributed the decision to Qualcomm’s failure to produce a comparable cost-effective replacement for the 870.

Anyhow, the 870 is accompanied by either 6 or 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and either 128 or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage in this configuration.
Although not entirely identical, the display is similarly comparable to that of the F3. However, according to Qiu, this year they have used a brighter screen, which should increase viewability and response time. It is still a 6.7-inch, 120Hz AMOLED display. Xiaomi Poco F4
But some places have seen more significant shifts. Perhaps the most significant is the inclusion of a new 64Mp rear camera with optical image stabilisation. This camera has a higher resolution than the F3 and is anticipated to perform better overall because of the addition of OIS, which should significantly enhance both night mode and video capture. Xiaomi Poco F4
The remaining camera configuration, which includes an 8Mp ultrawide, a 2Mp macro sensor, and a 20Mp selfie camera on the front, is somewhat comparable.
The battery size, at 4500mAh, is almost unchanged from last year’s phone and normal for the market, but the 67W wired fast charging is a big improvement. Xiaomi Poco F4

Poco F4 GT
The only official phone up to this point is the Poco F4 GT.
The phone’s uncanny resemblance to the Xiaomi Redmi K50 Gaming Edition was anticipated before to introduction, but as that device was exclusive to China, this isn’t really a concern. Xiaomi Poco F4
That is also true of the phone’s design, which has been more muted but still maintains the gaming look of the original Redmi phone. Aside from the bright yellow colour, which is perhaps obnoxious, the alternatives in black and silver are a touch more subdued. Xiaomi Poco F4
Gorilla Glass Victus covers the phone’s display and back, however it should be noted that there is no official IP classification for the material’s resistance to water and dust. Xiaomi Poco F4
The flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor in the phone provides top-notch performance, while LiquidCool Technology 3.0, which has two vapour chambers, keeps the device cool. With the addition of magnetic pop-up shoulder trigger buttons, which can also be customised to act as shortcuts, this will make the phone suited for gaming. Xiaomi Poco F4
It is available in two variations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, as was already reported. The storage is UFS 3.1 and the RAM is LPDDR5, so you are getting the best available in each. Xiaomi Poco F4
The display has an 800 nit normal brightness and is a 6.67-inch FHD+, 120Hz AMOLED with high frequency 1920Hz PWM dimming. The only small drawback is that Poco chose a side-mounter fingerprint scanner even though this AMOLED panel might enable an under-display scanner. Xiaomi Poco F4
Additionally noteworthy are battery and charging. The large 4700mAh battery should provide adequate lifespan. It is supported by lightning-quick 120W wired fast charging, which according to Poco can complete a full charge in only 17 minutes. There isn’t
On the rear, there is a triple array of cameras. The primary camera has an f/1.9 aperture and a 64Mp Sony IMX686 sensor. A 2Mp, f/2.4 macro lens and an 8Mp, f/2.2 ultrawide lens are added to this. A single 20Mp, f/2.4 selfie camera is located in the centre punch hole on the front. Xiaomi Poco F4
The F4 GT comes pre-installed with Android 12 and Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 UI. Poco is hesitant to commit to a precise number of Android updates at this time, but the firm is “trying to aim for a three plus four,” which translates to three years of Android version upgrades and four years of security patches, according to Angus Ng of Poco. At the very least, an update to Android 13 is probably certain. Xiaomi Poco F4
